Where to Look First

For a local Franklin County jail question, start with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office because it operates the Franklin County Jail.

General county office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, open through lunch, and closed weekends and holidays. The county research did not identify a separate jail desk number, so use 308-425-6231 for sheriff and jail information. Use 911 for emergencies.
